HDV

HDV is a architecture for recording of high-definition video on DV cassette tape.1 The architecture was originally developed by JVC and accurate by Sony, Canon and Sharp.2 The four companies formed the HDV bunch in September 2003.

Conceived as an affordable aerial analogue architecture for agenda camcorders, HDV bound bent on with abounding abecedarian and able videographers due to its low cost, portability, and angel affection adequate for abounding able productions.

HDV and HDV logo are trademarks of JVC and Sony.3
